Healthcare is at the heart of Calcutta Rescue's activities. Our day clinics complement the public medical services,
while the street medicine program is aimed at people living on the streets or in the slums of Kolkata who are in urgent need of medical care. In contrast to the day clinics, treatment is provided on a mobile basis in outpatient clinics that are regularly visited by a group of slum dwellers.

The new clinic in Topsia for Mother & Child
On Friday, December 15, 2023, Calcutta Rescue opened another small clinic in Topsia. This is Calcutta Rescue's 5th clinic and a project in collaboration with Friend of Calcutta, another NGO working in the Topsia slum.
